I see a few error messages in the 'Monitor' window. What should I do?

The Actus4 system monitors all the feeds connected to the system for audio and video faults.
If you received a notification or see an error displayed in the ‘Monitor’ page, please refer to the list below to troubleshoot troubleshoot it

Audio alerts

No Audio – system detects there is no audio coming in

  • Please check the audio level at the feed’s source, making sure it is proper
  • If there is audio on the source level, please check the cables used for that feed to determine whether they are faulty

Audio Too Low – system detects a very low audio gain level

  • Please check the audio gain level at the feed’s source, making sure it is high enough

Audio Too High – system detects a very high/distorted audio gain level

  • Please check the audio gain level at the feed’s source, making sure it is properly leveled

Video Alerts

No Video – system detects there is no video signal coming in

  • Please check the video signal at the feed’s source, making sure it is proper
  • If there is a video image on the source level, please check the cables used for that feed to determine whether they are faulty

Frozen Image– system detects audio but video image does not change

  • This notification may sometimes appear in specific TV programs such as in weather reports, and considered to be normal behavior as video content is not refreshing for long periods of time in those programs
  • If occurs when the video content is dynamic, please check the video signal at the feed’s source, making sure it is proper

No Update

  • This may occur when there is a difference between the operator’s PC’s Time-zone settings and those of the server’s. Please consult with your System Administrator for further troubleshooting

As always, should you continue to encounter problems with the above, or with any other issues, please contact our devoted support teams for further assistance:
